Raccoon's Claw skidded to a halt. HE glared at the three cats and bared his teeth.
Ashpaw arched her back and hissed.

Ghost turned to face Raccoon's Claw and growled.

Raccoon's Claw lashed his tail.

Bouncy lashed out.

Raccoon's Claw leaped on top of Bouncy.
Ashpaw threw herself against Raccoon's Claw and knocked him off Bouncy. Raccoon's Claw whipped around and slashed Ashpaw's side. Ashpaw stumbled. Raccoon's Claw leaped on top of Ashpaw and pinned her to the ground. Ashpaw struggled and hissed. Raccoon's Claw sank his long claws into her back and bared his teeth.
A small fluffy shape flashed past Raccoon's Claw's nose. Raccoon's Claw looked up startled, his eyes watered from the sudden stinging in his nose. Crimson blood dripped from the end of his snout. Suddenly he felt a tiny weight on his shoulders and points of increasing pain. He growled and twisted his head around. Clinging to his shoulders was a very small, very fluffy cream tabby she-cat with a nasty smile on her lips. Her long fluffy tail curled over her back Raccoon's Claw growled and swatted at the cat with a paw. The she-cat was gone before he had hardly moved. Raccoon's Claw narrowed his eyes. He yelped as pain spread up one leg and down his side. He whipped his head around. Scratches covered one leg and his side, blood dripped freely from the wounds. Pressure on his head made him look up. The small she-cat sat on his head, licking one paw. He growled and shook his head, but she was gone again. Raccoon's Claw twisted this way and that way looking for the elusive fluffball. Ashpaw escaped while Raccoon's Claw was distracted.
Raccoon's Claw froze, feeling pain in his throat. He could feel blood dripping down his chest. He opened his mouth, but no sound came out. Slowly he sank to the ground, shivvered once and then lay still.
The fluffy she-cat sat three taillengths away, licking blood from her paws.

Ghost slowly turned his head to the new-comer.
Bouncy turned to the new cat.

The fluffy she-cat finished cleaning her pelt and raised her eyes to meet the others'. She stared unblinkingly at them.

The fluffy cat purred. "My name is Ben. But that doesn't really mean anything to you, does it?"

Bouncy watched the cat curiously.

Ben flicked her long fluffy tail and stood up. "So what do you do around here for fun?"

"Chase cats off our territory," Ghost said with a slight growl.
"Really? Then why didn't you chase her off when you met her in the forest?" Menace asked, leaving the cover of the bushes and pointing at Bouncy with his tail.
"Who are you?" Ghost snapped.
"My name's Menace, don't let my name worry you, I won't hurt you." Menace said with a smile.

Today, I drove by a church, and the sign read "Jesus, the one man you don't need Twitter to follow." it made my day
