Bravepaw twitched her ears. She blinked her eyes again. Her right eye was beginning to clear, but her left eye remained cloudy. "I-I don't know."she said.

Shadowfire quickly caught a mouse and a thrush, but the thrush had let out an alarm call so he didn't expect to catch any more prey and headed back to camp.
Shadowscar sorted his herbs and decided he needed more Yarrow. He padded out of camp to search.

Bravepaw lifted her head, wondering how bad her injuries were. Her side was covered in dried blood and a sticky looking poultice. It still stung a little. Here leg was much worse off. It reminded her of the time it had been broken before. The healer said it had been broken in several places then and it looked much the same now. She sighed, How am I going to be a warrior now?!

"Your leg might not heal this time," announced Shadowscar," and that would mean not being a warrior, if you don't know, but there is another path, but we will wait and see."
Shadowfire dropped his fresh-kill on the pile and grabbed himself a mouse.

"I'll do the best I can, but for now you just need rest," Shadowscar assured Bravepaw.
Shadowfire finished the mouse and went sun himself on some rocks.

Bravepaw siaghed again, Stupid badger. If she ever came across that badger again, she'd kill it. She unsheathed her claws a scratched at the dirt, pretending it was badger flesh.

Shadowfire heard the badger and stood up. He crept towards it slowly, he could tell it was still weak from the battle. He sprang but the badger knew he was there and swatted him aside. Shadowfire realized that this was not the same badger, just an old one, but old ones are still deadly. He raced back to camp. "There is another badger, and maybe more," he yowled to no one in particular.
