Bravepaw sighed. She couldn't stand being in there that long. She remembered the last time she was here. It was not fun, but then at least she had had her mother.

Softfur licked Flamekit as he slept.

Bravepaw woke in her den the next day. The full extent of her injuries hit her hard and she hardly felt like breathing.

Flamekit woke up to hear his mother sleeping and he slipped out of the nursery, ready to explore.

Flamekit wondered into the medicine den and started sniffing around until he reached Bravepaw.

Bravepaw looked up. Her eyes widened when she saw Flamekit, "Hello, Flamekit."

"Really? where is he?" Flamekit asked excitedly.
Shadowscar woke up to the sound of Flamekit's voice.
"Shouldn't you be in the nursery Flamekit?" He asked.
Flamekit looked up," I wasn't tired so I wanted to explore."
"Alright, I'll let you stay a little longer," Shadowscar decided.
"Oh, thank you."

"Oh, why is he not here?" Flamekit asked.
Softfur woke and darted out of the nursery when she realized Flamekit was gone. She heard him in the medicine den and calmed down, getting something from the fresh-kill pile.
