"Really?" Azizi asked, excitedly. His ears lowered. "Wh-what about Earthfierce? Wasn't he leader?"
Earthfierce jumped when thunder boomed across the sky.

Bulletspeed flattened her ears when she heard the thunder, "Yes he was." She started off again.

Azizi glanced up nervously.
Earthfierce streaked for shelter when it started to rain. He huddled in an old twoleg nest.

Bulletspeed pelted toward the cliff, her tail streaming out behind her.

Azizi ran after Bulletspeed.
Earthfierce shook water from his pelt and huddled miserable and cold under the twoleg nest.

Bulletspeed stopped and slid a few taillengths on the wet grass. She looked over the edge of the cliff. She looked behind her and cursed. "I have to go back, I can't leave Earthfierce out there."

Azizi looked over the cliff, a little startled. HE looked at Bulletspeed. "What? Why not? Can't he take care of himself?"
Earthfierce began to lick himself dry.

"Yes, of course he can! But he doesn't know the way, and it isnt our way to abandon our leader," Bulletspeed mewed.

Azizi nodded. "Ok, let's go." He was starting to shiver in the cold rain.
Earthfierce watched the rain fall.

"If you want to go to our home, it's just down the cliff and a little ways that way," She pointed with her tail, "There's a path a few taillengths the same way."

Earthfierce closed his eyes.

Earthfierce drifted to sleep.
